"My thoughts and Prayers are with all of the family of James. James was a well liked person and he always spoke to you every time he would see you. I never heard him say a unkind word about anyone. Hilda, James and I grew up together, went to school together and our Daddy's were know as part of the "Pea Pickers" who were Mitchell Ayers, Wilson Dale, Ira Speck and Lindsey Thompson. Wilson, Mitchell, Truman Hawkins and J T Carwile would take turns once a month to cut each others hair and us kids would always go with our Daddy so we could play with the kids. James, Hilda and I always looked forward to the time we got to spend playing together when we were growing up. It is memories like these that we like to look back on and remember. Kids now a days don't realize that times like these were wonderful fun filled memories we made ourselves as we didn't have computers, telephones, a car, a lot of us didn't have a TV and we walked where ever we went. We really appreciated what we had and was very thankful for our friends and neighbors. I'm sorry I want be able to come to the visitation or services; but my thoughts are with all of you, and I will always remember James as a good friend and a wonderful human being. He will be deeply missed. Rest In Peace my friend!!!!!!!!"
