"When hearing of Sis's it quickly brought back many fond memories. The Murray's, the Nekos's and us had a lot of good times. She was proud, as she should have been, of all her children. More recently I always enjoyed punching her in the shoulder when going to my seat at the Hurley Reformed Church. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Family. May she rest in piece."

Cindy Jones (not to be confused with Cynthia :-) wrote on Dec 29, 2019:

"All of what I fondly remember about your folks, Sis (and Stevie) Nekos, I learned from their close friends on Hurley Heights (mainly "Go-Go" Simmons). What was not to like about your Mom?! Every year I could remember, I looked for a "personalized" birthday card to send her ("Happy Birthday, Sis"!). One of my major memories from the Lomontville days included the LARGE dogs (small house-HORSES?), the big old golden horse and small black pony in the yard (names escape me). The first time I tried to ride the family motorbike (?), I spun out in the driveway and came away very scraped up and bruised. Being around Sis was always lively, with laughter. And, yes, she was very kind... to me, especially when Glo died (2004). I will miss your Mom but remember her happily when I see you at the pharmacy. Cindy Jones, Kingston NY "
