"Aunt Edie, Some of my happiest memories from when I was little was going up to your house with Grandma to play games. I remember all the candy jars you used to have on you table and all the stuffed animals. You are such an inspiration for me, you endured so many challenges in life. You always overcame them with such a positive attitude. I will miss you so much Love always, Isabella "

"Edith, we had such happy great times. Lots of sleepovers and game playing. I know you are in a better place and I'll meet you there some day. Love Louise "

"Mom How do I begin to thank you for all the love and support you have shown me over the years? From the day I met you I really felt like you were my Mom from the way you welcomed me to the family. You gave me a reason to want to celebrate Mother's Day again from your motherly care of me through good and bad. Good bye and Godspeed our smurfette. You will be sorely missed by Ed and I."

Nancy Poore MacManus wrote on Dec 25, 2019:

"Edith, Aunt Edith, was such a trooper over the past month and half. She was so determined to get better. But, I guess God had other plans for her. Please know she went peacefully. There will be such a huge void in my life as I have been with her since birth. She has been my love, my angel and my strength. She was just a wonderful and kind person. "

Tom MacManus wrote on Dec 25, 2019:

"Aunt Edith Eisenhart was indeed an exceptional woman and truly one of a kind. She was sweet, caring, loving and soft spoken. To my wife Nancy she was a surrogate mother in many ways especially the critical times she spent in Nancy?s upbringing and caring while Florence worked. Nancy learned that her aunt Edith was strong in character while being quiet and humble. She learned so much from the loving relationship she had with her Aunt Edith and Uncle Ed which gave Nancy the exemplary examples on leading a more fulfilling life. Nancy is a better person because of the relationship and experiences she shared with Aunt Edith and Uncle Ed. Aunt Edith lived a full life and enjoyed her family ( especially her sisters) and friends. Many have now passed before her. Nancy, Kyle and I will miss you VERY VERY MUCH, but we know you are now at peace having left the world and the many lives you touched a better place! Rest In Peace you sweet thing! "
