Norman L. Frank
November 13, 1931 - December 29, 2019

Mr. Norman L. Frank, age 88 of Burlington, formerly of Oakville, IA, died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
Born November 13, 1931 in Burlington, he was the son of John and Rose (Vierling) Frank. He married Mary Ann Bailey August 5, 1951 in Mediapolis, IA.
After graduating from Huron High School, he served in the United States Navy for 8 years. He was a lifetime farmer and construction worker. His favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting.
Norman was a member of the Mediapolis Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary Ann Frank of Burlington; two children, Carol Kuntz of Mediapolis and Cory Frank of Oakville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Pflederer of Tremont, IL and Betty Frank of Nashville, TN; two sisters-in-law, Ellen Frank of Mt. Pleasant and Ann Frank of Waynesboro, VA; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig; a grandson; four brothers, Robert, Edward, John, and Kenneth; and two sisters, Lillian Ramseyer and Evelyn Schmidt.
The funeral service for Mr. Frank will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2nd at the Mediapolis Apostolic Church. Ministers of the church will officiate. Interment will be in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, rural Oakville. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 Wednesday, January 1st at Lunning Chapel, and 8:45-9:45 a.m. Thursday, January 2nd at the church before services.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials have been established for A.C. Harvest Call and Great River Hospice House.

I can still remember the days of hanging out with josh around the house and listening to the stories that norm and grandpa Robert Schrock would tell about farming.
