Dean Vaughn Massner
August 17, 1959 - December 29, 2019

Dean Vaughn Massner passed from this life at the Great River Hospice House on December 29, 2019. He was born August 17, 1959, the son of Earl and Ada (Wagenbach) Massner of Mediapolis, IA.
He was survived by brothers Dennis (Gail), West Bend, IA, Lyle (Debra), Morning Sun, IA; one sister, Carol (Joseph) Bonnesen of Wapello, IA; eight nieces and nephews; twenty-six great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl; nephew Jon Joseph Bonnesen; and great niece, Dahlia Marie Bonnesen; plus numerous cousins and friends that were dear to him and befriended him over his lifetime.
Dean graduated from Mediapolis High School in 1977 and helped on the family farm until his health diminished in his later years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling with his parents around the world.
The funeral service for Dean will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4th at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church. Ministers of the church will officiate. Interment will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Oakville, IA. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 3rd at Lunning Chapel and 9:00-9:45 a.m. Saturday at the church before services.
Memorials have been established for Great River Hospice House and Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
