MUSCATINE, Iowa - Denny Lee Miller, 58, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019, at his home.
Memorial Gathering is on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Online condolences: wittichfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Denny was born on September 11, 1961 in Roswell, New Mexico, the son of Lee C. and Sally O'Leary Miller.
He was a 1980 graduate of Muscatine High School and was very active in sports, winning a lot of awards.
Denny was an avid fisherman and loved to bow hunt. He enjoyed horses and spending time at the cabin with his family and friends. He loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeyes. He loved all animals, including his two cats.
Those left to honor his memory include his siblings, Tammy Rominger and husband, Bill, of Muscatine, Kathy Verslues and husband, Gary, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Jennifer Bowden and husband, Jason, of Silvis, Illinois, and Tracy Holladay and husband, Cory, of Muscatine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother David S. Miller; and nephew Jacob Bowden.
