Clifton Ammons
July 24, 1950 - January 1, 2020

Clifton Ammons, age 69, passed away on January 1, 2020 of acute liver failure. He was born July 24, 1950, a son of James Howard and Lila June Orme Ammons in Brigham City, Utah.
He attended schools in Brigham City, Utah and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1968. He worked for Lifetime Products in Logan. He proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1973, after serving two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Allred, on July 24, 1992 in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. She died on September 26, 2013. He spent the last four years at The Gardens Assisted Living Center in Ogden. He made many wonderful friends there.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandy, parents, brother Jimmie Ammons and sister, Betty June Maxwell. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters: Juanita (Alan) Christensen, Margie Porter, Tom (Lynn) Ammons, and Jamie (Scott) Jensen, all of Brigham City. George Ammons of Salt Lake City, Utah; Robbin (Ron) Tschikof of Overton, Nevada; and Clark Ammons of Arnold, Missouri.
Per his wishes, no public viewing or funeral service will be held. A private burial service will be held at Calls Fort Cemetery in Harper Ward at a later. Services entrusted to Gillies Funeral Chapel.
