Seth J. Thompson
December 21, 1999 - January 3, 2020

Seth J. Thompson, 20, of Albion, IN passed away at 10:24 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Born December 21, 1999 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Dave Thompson and Sara (Holbrook) Miller.

He grew up in Albion and enjoyed fishing, hunting and played football as he grew up. He attended Central Noble Middle School and graduated from Central Noble High School with the Class of 2018. As he became a teenager, Seth learned the skills of tanning hides and worked at McDonalds and Whitley Manufacturing. He found relaxation in hunting and enjoyed casting his reel at Duke's Bridge or singing for his friends. Seth had the gift of making people laugh. He was a natural comedian and could easily get you laughing.

He is survived by his loving parents, Dave Thompson of Columbia City and Sara and Tom Miller of Fort Wayne; grandparents, Glenda Stevens of Kendallville, Dave and Tammy Holbrook of Albion, Jenny and Sonny Ratliff of LaGrange and Tommy Sr and Chris Miller of LaGrange ; brother, Jay Thompson; sisters Courtney and Jessica Thompson; step-siblings, Stephon, Julianna, Adrian and Samuel Miller and his dog, Taffy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Bernice Thompson; and his beloved dog, Jack in the accident.

A gathering of family and friends will be 2-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Nate Mosley officiating. Burial will follow at Hooper-King Cemetery, Avilla.
