INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Barbara I. Baldwin (née Cline), age 97, of Indianapolis, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her sons Michael Baldwin, Richard Baldwin and Donald Baldwin; three granddaughters, Sara Baldwin Schatz, Courtney Baldwin and Danielle Apodaca; two great-grandchildren, Oskar and Sagan Schatz; daughter-in-laws, Cindy Baldwin (Richard), Brenda Baldwin (Michael) and Pam Baldwin (Donald). Preceded in death by her husband Raymond W. Baldwin; brothers Wilmer Cline and Hugh Cline, and parents John and Ethel Cline.

Barb was an avid bowler at the now defunct Jubilee Bowl on Michigan Rd. near 71st St. She grew up on her family's farm near 73rd St. and Ditch Rd., later building her own home on the property with her husband Ray. After graduating Broad Ripple High School she attended Indiana Business College and worked as a secretary until she had children, and again after her children were grown. She was actively involved at Pleasant View Lutheran Church for most of her life, and was a descendant of the church's founders. In her later years, Barb enjoyed a quiet life at Zionsville Meadows.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 11 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 700 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in Barbara Baldwin's memory to Pleasant View Lutheran Church, 801 W 73rd St, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
