Roy Thomas Kittel, age 68, of Muskegon, passed away on Tuesday November 26, 2019. He was born on August 24, 1951 in Muskegon, MI to Ray and Lillian (Griswold) Kittel and resided in the area his entire life. Roy was the owner/operator of Budget Transmission & Automotive Repair for 31 years until his retirement. He was an avid local dirt track racer for over a decade in the 1980's & 1990's and continued to support racing until his passing. Roy married Carole Jean Streeting on May 12, 1973 in Muskegon and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. Roy is preceded in death by his mother Lillian and sister Sandra Hough. Roy is survived by his wife Carole and two children Jeanie Kittel and Douglas Kittel both of Muskegon; four grandchildren Johnathan Bennett, Jacob Bennett, Ryan Kittel and Brandon Kittel; father Ray Kittel; brother Terry Kittel; three sisters Gloria Risch, Pat Kittel and Wanda Heykoop and his beloved pup Annie. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be at 2PM Sunday January 19, 2020 at the Fruitport Eagles, 3354 S. Dangl Rd, Muskegon, Michigan 49444.
