John worked for Golden Creek Carpet for many years. He was top salesman with many awards. He loved playing golf before his full frontal stoke, and going to the casino. Ellis, all in Georgia. Preceded in death by his parents Hershel and Julia Ellis, sister Mary Pugh, and mother-in-law, Marilyn Kossow. I would like to thank unit 2C at Michael Debakey VA hospital nurses and staff for all the love and support they gave us. They were considered our extended family. I also want to thank his sister Jackie Clanton and her husband Billy for all the love and encouragement they gave me during John's sickness. John fought a good fight, he will be surely missed and took a piece of our hearts with him. A memorial service is being planned for John at Houston National Cemetery Monday, January 12 at 1:30pm. I am home in Heaven dear ones Oh so happy and oh so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In the Everlasting Light All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed, I am now in peace forever, Safely home in heaven at last There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand Do it now while Life remaineth... You shall rest in God's own Land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home, Oh the rapture of that meeting, Oh the Joy to see you come.
