Blanca Estela Maldonado passed away September 27, 2015 peacefully, at Emerus Community Hospital in Tomball, Texas. She was born on July 24, 1956, in Laredo, Texas. She was a 1975 graduate of W.B. Ray High School, in Corpus Christi, Texas and a 1979 graduate of Laredo State University now known as Texas A&I in Laredo, Texas, retired as Educator from Houston Independent School District after 29 years of Teaching from a battle of sickness. She is preceded in death by her parents Juanita Diaz Maldonado and Silvestre Antonio Maldonado, her maternal and paternal grandparents, Delfino and Maria Elia (Villarreal) Diaz and Luis and Andrea (Jasso) Maldonado, her brother Victor Xavier Maldonado and her surrogate father Delfino Diaz (aka Uncle Jr.), four uncles and five cousins. She is survived by her son Alberico Noel Maldonado (Bellanyra), her grandchildren Alberico Noel Maldonado, Jr and Aribella Nichol Maldonado, her sisters Esmeralda Linda Winchell (Tom) Gladys Denise Maldonado (Mary) and brother Silvestre Antonio Maldonado (Lidiya), one nephew, four nieces, five grand nephews, six grand nieces , three uncles and seven aunts, and numerous of cousins up to six generations. Funeral Services will be held at St Justin Martyr Catholic Church on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:30 am at 13350 Ashford Point Houston, Texas 77082. A remembrance gathering following the mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting to DONATE to your local American Diabetes Association.
