Christopher Kevin Kulpa, 52 of Round Rock, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in the comfort of his home. A Celebration in honor of Chris' life will be held at his residence in Round Rock at 2pm on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Please contact the family for the physical address. Chris was born April 14, 1963 to Joseph Jr. and Rosemary (Poremba) Kulpa in Santa Maria, CA. Chris graduated from Bellarmine College Prep School, in San Jose, CA in 1981 and went on to attend and graduate from San Jose State, achieving his Bachelor's degree in Recreations and Leisure Management. He pursued a career in Property Management, and was employed with Capstone Real Estate Services for the last 10 years in the Austin area after moving here in 2004. In the Summer of 2004 summer, Chris met the woman who would become the love of his life, Carrie Hyra. They began dating in 2005, and spent the final 10 years of his life as partners. Together, they built a life and a family, raising his step-daughter, Alexandra, and he relished in calling Carrie his wife to her joy and amusement. Chris will be remembered fondly for his stupid dad jokes, his radiant smile, giving nature, and the laughter he brought to those around him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Carrie Hyra and his step-daughter, Alexandra; mother, Rosemary Kulpa; sister, Becky Fernandez; brother, Karl Kulpa; sister, Cheryl Turay; brother Ken Kulpa; and many other dear family members and friends.
