Julie Anne (Boock) Treinies, age 71, passed away on December 25, 2015 in Round Rock, Texas. Julie was born in Omaha, Nebraska, daughter of Albert and Margaret Boock. She grew up in Omaha, and attended Benson High School. After marrying the love of her life, Gary Treinies, the two spent the early part of their married life in Iowa and then moved to Houston, Texas. Julie spent many years as a wife, homemaker, and dedicated mother to her four daughters. Her passions included sewing, fashion design, art, and genealogy. She owned her own business while living in Houston, Texas where she taught sewing classes and designed and made clothes for customers. Julie also enjoyed working at the Houston Opera in the costume department. She and her husband Gary were also founding members of the Northwoods Unitarian Church in the Woodlands, Texas. Julie was predeceased by her parents Albert and Margaret Boock, and her husband Gary Treinies. She is survived by: her sister Jana Peterson and her husband Glenn of Sonoma, California, her daughters Molly Yardley of Arvada, Colorado, Mona Raju and her husband Raju Vijay of Georgetown, Texas, Anna Milburn and her husband Ken Milburn of Plano, Texas, Adrianne Schott and her husband Albert Schott of Fort Worth, Texas. She also leaves behind 13 beloved grandchildren. Julie is also survived by Bonnie LaGrande and many other dear friends. A private memorial service will be planned, and she will rest in Madison, Nebraska alongside her husband Gary.
