Antonia Pequeño Betancourt, 78, of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest at home, surrounded by her children on February 4th, 2016, in Leander, Texas. A Memorial Mass in her honor is scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, February 18th at Holy Family Church, with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Antonia was born on January 30th 1938, in Hualahuises, N.L. Mexico. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Antonia brought joy to the lives of many with her witty, if not, mischievous sense of humor and her delicious cooking. Her favorite past time was caring for those she loved and keeping in touch with family. She also loved watching her novelas and Horror films. Antonia will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Antonia is survived by her children, Carolina (Donny) Parker, Leticia (Rolando) Martinez, Jesus Betancourt Jr, Norma (Gabriel) Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Betancourt (Laura Gomez), and Cynthia Betancourt (Rene Zuniga); 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Elena Quintero, Irene Garcia, Emerica Chavez, Fernando Pequeño, Juan Manuel Pequeño, Estela Salas, and Josie Esparza; She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Betancourt Sr.; her daughter, Martha Vanessa Betancourt and her parents, Cristobal and Juanita Pequeño.
