JoAnn Isbell Terrell, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.
JoAnn was born at home in Oklahoma on October 26, 1926. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Albert Isbell and Ruby (Pybus) Isbell, and her brother, John "Corky" Isbell. Her two dearly loved sisters, Mary Ruth Dwyer and Teda Hulsey, survive her.
JoAnn married Paul Terrell, and together they raised four sons. JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of the best quotes from the postings regarding her passing - "Aunt Jo could reign in four wild boys with one hand while dishing up ice cream with the other. " Her feisty and loving attitude will be missed. As will her cooking specialties (Pumpkin Chiffon Pie and Aunt Bill's Candy) and her great book recommendations.
JoAnn was the beloved mother to David Edward Terrell, Donald Freeman & his wife Roxanne Terrell, Danny Paul Terrell, and Richard Ralph Terrell.
She was the loving grandmother to Patricia White, Jason Hurley, Hailey Terrell, Jared Terrell, Jordan and his wife Megan Terrell, Damon Terrell and Lara and her husband Bryan Hollar.
She was blessed with multiple great-grandchildren: Colin White, Cass White, Holt Terrell, Walker Terrell, Wyatt Terrell, Sennett Terrell, Brianna Hurley, Mia Hurley, Gabriella Hurley and Liam Hurley.
