Philip Randall Jackson
Philip Randall Jackson, known to his friends as "Phil," passed away on July 16, 2015, at 66 years of age surrounded by his family. He was a rancher, outdoorsman, and retired pharmacist based both in Houston and Dilworth, Texas.

Born August 9, 1948 in Cuero, Texas, Phil met his wife, Mima Lipson Jackson, while studying pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of the ROTC and served at Fort Bragg and Fort Knox. He sold computers to pharmaceutical companies before he owned and operated two pharmacies in the Houston Medical Center. Prior to retiring from the pharmacy business, he acquired an undeveloped property in Dilworth, Texas, between Shiner and Gonzales. There he maintained a homestead and raised cattle with his wife until his passing. Phil also worked extensively with the Cuero Independent School District Education Foundation.

Phil was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Wachtendorf Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Mima Lipson Jackson, sons, Shawn and Ryan Jackson, daughter-in-law, Leanne Kolnick Jackson, granddaughter, Myra Jackson, father, Perry Jackson, siblings, Allen Jackson, Linda Boyer, and Janet Goodson.

The funeral service will be held Sunday July 19, 3:30pm, at Congregation Emanu El in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Cuero ISD Education Foundation.  Information available at www.cueroedfoundation.org.
