November 20, 1914 - May 19, 2015

Lena Aron Frost born on November 20, 1914 in Bryan, Texas to Max and Shprintze Tapper passed away May 19, 2015. Her memory will be cherished by her daughers: Joyce Nimetz and Dr. Gary Nimetz, Vivian Lipman and Stanley Lipman, Sheila Aron and Roy Murray. Grandchildren: Steven and Caroline Nimetz, Randi and Rand Singer, Ronnie and MaeLissa Lipman, Julie and Shane Canby. Great-Grandchildren: Alexander Nimetz, Ellie Nimetz, Elizaabeth Nimetz, Morgan Singer, Drew Singer, Ariana Canby, Davis Canby, Jake Lipman, and Sophie Lipman. She was married to Leon Aron on July 5, 1936 and they were married for almost 50 years and were blessed with three loving daughters, Vivian, Joyce and Sheila, four wonderful grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lena loved dancing and music and her favorite song was String of Pearls. She was a true southern lady who loved her family passionately.
Lena was a devoted mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.   In 1967 she brought Weight Watchers to Texas where she became a very successful business woman helping people lose weight. She later expanded her business to Oklahoma and Southern California.

She was proud of her Judaism and was a strong supporter of Israel. She received the Woman of Excellence award from the State of Israel Bonds.

She enjoyed being married to Milton Frost for 17 years.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 3:00pm at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery.
