Sarah Dubman
February 3, 1919 - September 8, 2015

TSarah Merovitch Dubman, 96, passed away on September 8, 2015 in Boca Raton, Florida.  She was born in Russia on February 3, 1919 to Harry and Rachel Kastner.  Sarah and her family came to Montreal, Canada when she was an infant.  She met her husband Sam Merovitch in Montreal and had three beautiful children, Irving, Eddie and Barry.  The family moved to Brooklyn, New York in the early sixty's. Sarah then started selling Couture dresses at Clara's dress shop in Brighton Beach for 10 years.  While working at Clara's she met a young lady, Myra Jacowsky who was shopping for a dress for a dance. After introducing Myra to her son Irving, they started dating and were married in 1961. Her son Irving was then transferred to Houston with his company in 1971.  Sarah and Sam then moved to Houston in 1973 with Barry and Eddie following soon after to be with family.  Sarah then began working for Harold Farb at Nob hill and British Inn.  While working at Nob Hill she met Sheila Davis and they became very close friends.  Shortly after Sam passed away in 1982, Sarah moved to South Florida.  Eddie and Barry also moved to Florida to be close to her.  In 1987 she met Bill Dubman and they married in 1988. Bill (72) and Sarah (70) had a beautiful life at the Wynmoor in Coconut Creek, Florida.  Together they travelled to Europe and Israel and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was loved by all who crossed her path.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sam Merovitch, son, Irving Merovitch, husband, Bill Dubman, brothers, Nathan and Louie Kastner.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Merovitch and Barry Merovitch and wife, Debra; daughter, Hedy Dubman; sister, Freda Rudick: niece, who was loved like a sister, Betty Nowa: grandchildren, Randi Mermelstein, Scott Merovitch and wife Sandra, Sean Merovitch and wife Lisa, Drew Kravitz, Michael Archer; great-grandchildren, Jordan Mermelstein, Zachary and Morgan Merovitch, Patrick, Brandon and Sam Merovitch.

Graveside will be held at 2:30, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery.

The family would be honored if donations were made to the American Diabetes Association.
