Frances Ross
June 9, 1925 - March 21, 2016
Frances Robinowitz Ross died peacefully on March 21st. She was 90 years old. Frances will be buried alongside her beloved husband Philip and daughter Ellen. She will be dearly missed by her son Bill Ross, son-in-law Alan Gover, grandchildren Maxwell and Mary Gover, brother and sister-in-law Keith and Joyce Robins and her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances was a beautiful Texas lady. She was raised in Arlington and Dallas by her parents Mary and Edward Robinowitz. In 1944, she met a handsome Army physician from Chicago who was stationed in Dallas. Frances and Philip married and were never apart until his death in 1996. They settled in Waco, raised Ellen and Bill, enjoyed life and enriched their friends and their community by their good examples. When Phil retired from medical practice, they moved to Houston and loved being with their children and grandchildren who loved them. Frances joins not only Philip and Ellen, but many lovely men and women who were her long-time friends. However, very special mention and thanks go to Ms. Juanie Navarette, who was an angel in her care and kindness. Services at Beth Israel Cemetery are private.
