In memory of Robert Behringer, 04/02/1948 - 04/14/2019

Robert Michael Behringer, age 71 of Dallas, passed away peacefully at his home on April 14, 2019 surrounded by so much love from his wife, Janet, of 44 years, children & grandchildren.

Robert will be remembered for his strong yet modest, beautiful and gentle nature, his limitless generosity, his passion for the "journey" of life and to never stop believing, but most importantly, he will be remembered for his devotion to his family and always making them his first priority.

Robert was born April 2, 1948 in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he met his lifelong partner and wife, had his three children and began his life journey would eventually bring him to Dallas, Texas in 1985. It was here where he fulfilled his professional dreams in commercial Real Estate.  Robert fell in love with Texas and enjoyed time with his friends and family over dinners and travel but especially at lake Cypress Springs where he found solace and down time with his family and pets.  To be sure, if there was a grandchild or animal around, that's where you would find Robert.

Robert was an extraordinary man who was full of optimism; his philosophy in life is that the glass was always half-full.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil & Joan Behringer and his sister Nancy Behringer. He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Heather (Mick), Jaime (Michael), Brad (Diana), and grandchildren Alexandra, Jordan, J.D., Claire, Kaelen, Claire, Ryann, Lucy, Mylo & Bella; and siblings, Lawrence Behringer and James Behringer; and many loving nieces & nephews.

Special appreciation is extended from the family to Darren Scott & Usaia Bulay (Bly), his all-giving, loving, supportive caregivers who made Robert's life peaceful and comfortable until the end.  We are eternally grateful for these wonderful men.
