Our beloved son, Neil Bekker, passed away suddenly on October 31, 2019 while on a business trip with his father in Hong Kong.  Neil was born in South Africa and emigrated to Houston with his family when he was 4 years old.  Neil was in business with his father, David, and brother, Grant, and nothing made him happier than going to work each day, loving what he did and being with the people he looked up to and cared deeply for.  He was a born salesman who was very passionate about his work and derived much satisfaction from closing business deals, which he was a true pro at.  He was liked by each and every vendor and business associate as he had a personality second to none - always friendly, charming, like-able and courteous.   He is survived by his adoring parents, Janice and David Bekker and his brother, Grant, with whom he shared a very close, loving relationship.  He is pre-deceased by his devoted grandparents and his uncle Harold Bekker.  He will be sorely missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beth Yeshurun Day School, any cancer or heart research institutes or no-kill pet shelter.
