Earl Dean Scarborough , age 60, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 6:29 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Earl was born May 15, 1959 in Ozark, Arkansas, the son of Huey and Dorothy Warren Scarborough. He married Peggy Sue Clow on September 8, 1999 in Plainview, TX. She survives.
Our beloved Earl is survived by: his loving wife, Peggy Sue Scarborough; a son Shawn (Samantha) Scarborough of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; four stepchildren, Katherine Hedglin, Matthew (Dael) Hedglin, Jennifer Holmes, and Robert Holmes; five grandchildren, Robert Kleames, Lucas Hedglin, Miriam Gibler, Tara Hedglin, and Connor Hedglin; a great-granddaughter, Cora Gibler, all from Hannibal, Missouri; his brother Floyd (Kathie) Scarborough; and sister Huette Scarborough from Yukon, Oklahoma; a niece, Kalissa Stump from Yukon, Oklahoma; a nephew Zachary Scarborough from North Carolina; great-niece Issabella Brantley; a great Nephew Blaine Montgomery; and many more.
He is preceded in death by his parents Huey and Dorothy Scarborough along with brothers Steve and Troy Scarborough from Plainview, Tx.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
Memorials: Flowers can be sent for Memorial Service. If you would prefer, you can donate to lifewaters.org, of which Earl was a big part of the diving team, in lieu of flowers.
