Joseph A. Pugliese of Blue Bell died March 2, 2004, in Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood. He was 64.
Born in Ambler, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Maria LaRuffa Pugliese.
He was a graduate of Ambler High School , Class of 1957.
Mr. Pugliese worked for 30 years as the director of finance for Richfoods, formerly of Blue Bell; Sysco Food Service in Philadelphia for five years; and most recently for U.S. Food Service in Bridgeport, N.J.
Mr. Pugliese enjoyed his time with his family, traveling, bowlÂing, golfing and summers at the shore.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia B. (Bean) Pugliese ;two sons, Stephen and his wife, Beryl, and Rick and his wife, Diana, all of Lansdale; two daughters, Cindi Veverka and her husband, Craig, of Collegeville, and Natalie Schneller and her husband, Chip, of Melbourne, Fla.; five grandchildren: and two brothers, John of Ambler and Pasquale of Collegeville. He was predeceased by a brother, Dominic S. Jan. 31.
Services were March 6 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, Ambler, with a funeral Mass at St. Joseph 's Church, Ambler. Entombment was in George Washington Memorial Park , Plymouth Meeting.
