"Great Lewis and Clark shipmate. My daughters buddy. She was about three, and Wayne would take her to the Crew?s Mess and spoil her with ice cream. She thought he was the greatest. Rest In Peace Wayne. We have the watch. Dave Brown"

"Wayne was a gentleman of unbelievable love for family and friends. I remember calling him one day to help me get my garden tractor out of my pond. He came over immediately with chains, jumped in the pond..wearing his new boots and pulled it out with his truck. We laughted about it and away he went. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had so much love and he was loved by many. GOD Bless you and your family."

"My dear friend you will be dearly missed. It was hard coming into the restaurant yesterday and looking over there at your table. You wasn't just a customer you was part of our family at stovers. We will miss that wonderful laugh of yours and you standing at the door telling everyone goodbye. We know you are in a better place sweetie and we really hope you knew how much we loved you. "
