"You were my biological father and not a very good one. The last time I seen you was over 25 years ago. I tried reaching out to you several times throughout my adult life only to have you turn your back on me. You could have died with family but instead you died with friends. I am not the only family you turned your back on. I have two half brothers Kevin and Darin and you also turned your back on them. I often wonder why and although you have been gone a year and a half I still think about you and wonder what kind of relationship we might have had if you would have opened your heart. I am glad you had friends to help you in your dying days. I was sent your crucifix and the 2- $2 bills you carried in your wallet every day. Those are the only physical memories I have of you. As I look at this picture of you (which must have been taken a very long time ago) I see a man who had three children who he never got to know. It was your loss Tom Forsman. "
