Darcy Ann Rieks, age 62, of Ames, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Darcy Ann Rieks was born March 15, 1957, in Dane County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harrison Barton and Shirley (Kelsey) Klotzbach. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Darcy took great pride in her employment as clerical supervisor in the audit bureau of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
On June 7, 2008, she was united in marriage to David Rieks. Darcy enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include three children, Glenn Winston Jr. of Iowa City, Juston Winston of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Virginia Winston of Ames; eight grandchildren, Michael, Isaiah, Journie, Juston Jr., Jasyah, Harmony, Ares, and Xena; a brother, Jeff Klotzbach of Prairie du Chien, WI; three sisters, Debbie Tinker, Julie Bogle, and Carrie Klotzbach, all of Madison, WI; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Tyree; her parents; and a sister, Lynn Busker.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Darcy and her family.
