"Dear Mair family, I am remorseful about your loss and like to extend my deepest sympathy for your loved one Bruce Mair. From personal experience I know that the death of a love one causes pain and grief and sometimes it seems unbearable. The Scriptures contain comfort that can assist us during times of distress. The ransom of Jesus and the hope of seeing my loved one again in the resurrection brought me comfort. I would like to share these three scriptures with you to give you comfort John 5:28, 29, Acts 24:15 and Romans 15:4. May the God of comfort give you peace and rest. Mrs. Higgins "

"To the Mair family, I just wanted to empathize with what a great loss you and many close friends have recently endured. However, acknowledge even a greater legacy and memories that Bruce left with us. I unfortunately was out of town and not able to attend the memorial, but had the privilege to get a copy of Gilbert's eulogy. It was spoken so well and those that were close to Bruce could relate on so many levels. I feel it was written from all of us collectively. My heart and prayers go out to you. Bruce will always be thought of, by me, with a smile on my face and love in my heart. God Bless - Woz "

Michael Mikula wrote on Nov 17, 2012:

"Bruce was a gift to us all. He is a reminder that if you focus on those things that make you and the people you love happy, everything else is just life's distraction. While his strength to combat his diagnosis was nothing short of miraculous, it is that smile and laugh that will stay with me forever. God Bless Bruce. God Bless those who were fortunate to know him, if even only slightly. "
