Cherished daughter of Elizabeth and the late James Sweeney and daughter-in-law of the late James Richard Buckley and Jean Carey Buckley. Dear sister of Sheila (Ahmad) Sereshteh, Patricia (the late Colin) Hubbell, and Kathryn (Ken) Peltier, and sister-in-law of Kathleen (the late David) Buckley ONeill, the late William Carey (Terry) Buckley, John Patrick (Anne) Buckley, and Joseph Power (Diane Daigle) Buckley.

Visitation 3-9 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Rosary 7:00 PM Wednesday at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, Inc., 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Park. Funeral Thursday at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church, 1401 Whittier, Grosse Pointe Park; Instate 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. Donations may be made to the church for their philanthropic organizations or to the Retirement Fund for Religious, 3211 4th Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20017-1194.
