"Drew, you were an incredibly uplifting person that i was reluctant to know. You endured through our toughest football practices, after-school workouts, and pre-season two-a-days. You continued through so much in football. You were a team leader, to say the least. I remember after GPS had a bad football practice, coach pointed you out for displaying a tremendous effort, which is what you displayed throughout the year. There is no doubt in my mind that everyone remembers your hilarious rhymes on the bus back home. I am sorry I could not figure out earlier that you were in so much pain. I am happy to know that you were apart of my life, our football team, and the Grosse Pointe South class of 2015. Until we meet again, Brian Mack (bmack)"
