BAGERIS, Joyce C. August 6, 2014. Age77. Beloved wife of the late John. Dear mother of the late George, Becky (Jamie) McGarvah, Christina, Vicki, Hope (Brandon) Stallard, Christopher (Beth). Loving Yia-Yia of Shae, Taylor, Luke, John Muncie, Alexandra and John Christopher. Dearest sister of George Katros, Elpis Cotzias, the late Thomas Katros and the late William Katros. Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Instate 9:30am until time of Service at 11:00am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 707 E Lafayette St., Detroit, MI 48226. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association. Light a candle and share a memory at www.verheyden.org.

"I am 8 years to late for my God Mother. No words can express the sorrow that I failed share with all my family. I miss you and your face. I have so many pictures stored from your times in Athens with my dad, Bill. As well as throughout the years. I see your Spirit. Remember you saved me from falling off the Bablo Boat rail by grabbing my belt when I was 8 or so I think!! I was halfway off and going in. Miss you!"

"Darling Auntie Joyce, I will always remember how you sent me "bubble-gum" money when I was in College, and how you showed me how to blow huge gum bubbles until they stuck in my long hair and Mom cried when the barber had to cut my hair. I loved it short---and I loved you. I know that you are in Heaven now with Uncle John and Georgie, and those that you loved and lost. "My sweet, beautiful "Babs" I'm trying so hard to be strong because it's what you would tell me to do. I can almost hear you say "don't be sad, don't cry for me" of course this is what you would say because you lived your entire life for us and to see us in so much pain would be unbearable for you. So I will do my best to remember that you have gone home to be with Daddy and George, Nona and Papouli, Uncle Bill and Uncle Tom. What a reunion that must have been! Forever I will love and miss you, and "I'm gonna keep on loving you"....."
