"Karl, a great friend for 30 years. I'll always have great memories of our trips to the Kentucky Derby. You were the funniest man I've ever know. Your sense of humor was like no other. You traveled all the way to Connecticut to celebrate my 40th birthday. That meant so much to me. The world was a better place while you were here and a much sadder place without you. I look forward to seeing you again one day. Until then I will miss you my friend. "
