"Dear family. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. What brings me comfort in times like these is the scripture found at Revelation 21: 3, 4 where God promises to do away with all sickness and death forever. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may Jehovah, the God of all comfort, be with your family during this most difficult time in your lives."

"I will never forget the kindness shown to me when Mr. Grady was a Grosse Pointe Woods councilperson. I was a young writer doing freelance work for the city and looking to improve my career. He invited me down to the then Michigan Bell building for lunch in the executive dining room, showed me around and set me up for pre-interview testing with the "Personnel" department. While the positions available at that time didn't coincide with my skills and interests, his coaching gave me confidence to reach further and achieve my own career success. For that I have always been grateful. Jan (Duster) Treuter"

"Our condolences to Margaret and family. While I haven't seen Dan in many years, I will never forget that great sense of humor and the few years we spent in Traffic Engineering in the old Lincoln Building. You didn't have to know Dan very long to know that he was destined for a great future with MBT and he didn't disappoint.

"A wise man once told me that we are reminded of one of our reflections on death. The sadness following a death is the price we all pay for lives of love, nice memories, happiness, and joy. Although the sadness is daunting, and at times the draining experience, perhaps it is a small price to pay for the goodness of our lives and loves. The wise man was E.D.Grady a life well lived.
