Susan Ann (Curtsinger) Kuhl, age 57, passed away from cancer, September 6, 2019, Grosse Pointe (Beaumont).
Susan was born to the Late Paul and Mary Curtsinger at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms on October 9, 1961. Beloved wife of Larry, Grosse Pointe Woods. Loving mother of William Billy, recently enrolled at MSU and stepmother of Nathan (Christine) Kuhl or Grosse Pointe Farms and Nicholas (Jeanette) Kuhl of Grosse Pointe. Proud grandmother of Grace, Julia, Lincoln, Lena and Elliott. Dear sister of Michael Curtsinger of Warren.
Sue spent 15 years of her working career with the FBI, concluding her career as an analyst there in 2001, following the birth of Billy. During his early childhood she undertook a variety of volunteer positions before joining the staff at St. Clare of Montefalco over the past few years as a secretary in the Catholic Education program. Her work with the church and in government service was testimony to her strong beliefs in service to the public as well as service to God. Sue was a life long believer and actively lived her faith.
Visitation Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5-8 pm, Scripture Service 7 pm, at Chas. Verheyden Inc, 16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park. Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 11, 2019, in-state at 10:30 am until time of service, 11 am at St. Clare of Montefalco Church, 1404 Whittier Road, Grosse Pointe Park. Memorial contributions to Leader Dogs for the Blind, 1039 S. Rochester Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 or donors choice are appreciated.
