"I like to think that the Blessed Mother introduced Chris and me and I thank her for that. Besides being fellow parishioners, Chris and I met in a small group several years ago on Tuesday evenings to pray the Rosary. Norb often joined us. It seems so simple to say, "we prayed the Rosary together," but it was so special, praying for each other and for the intentions of all those who gathered together. Even more special was the privilege of praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at Chris's bedside shortly before her passing. I will always be grateful for the family welcoming us at that time. "May the Blessed Mother welcome you, Chris, and take you to her Son. May you rest in peace, my fellow prayer warrior, and don't forget to prop your foot in the door up there for the rest of us ; )" "

"Everyone loved Aunt Chris and she will be so missed. She was beautiful, funny and so sweet. She had the best laugh and was always happy and smiling. I was always so proud to be named after her. So happy she is now with her brothers. She and Uncle Norb raised amazing kids, my sisters and I are so lucky to have such wonderful cousins. Rest In Peace Aunt Chris, the love you gave us wont be forgotten. XO Christine (Tini) Geist (Having the same name, not sure why she never got this awful nickname along the way ) "

"Chris was a forever friend with whom my husband, Mike, and I spent many wonderful times together both before and after our marriages. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and was surely the sweetest person I have had the privilege of calling a friend. We shared the births and marriages of our children and their accomplishments as they got older. Our family pets always loved when Chris visited as they also knew what a sweet and loving person she was. Anyone who met Chris knew immediately what a wonderful person she was. She will be missed dearly by us, her family, and those who were privileged to call her a friend."

"We were Blessed to have Christine as our neighbor. She was a ray of sunshine - always smiling and sharing a kind word. Christine loved her family and beamed with pride when she spoke of her grandchildren. We know that Christine is at peace and will watch over her family. May her loving legacy continue."

Mary Lou Geist wrote on Oct 18, 2019:

"Chris was a devoted sister to her brother Paul, my husband, especially during the time of his illness. She will always be remembered for her love and concern for everyone. From the time we first met as freshmen at St. Paul Highschool, Chris was welcoming, inviting and radiated her beautiful smile to everyone. Her family was the joy of her life and I was blessed to be a part of that happiness. I can never forget all the fun we had together over the 67 years of our friendship. We were on many teams together- swimming, basketball, softball, cheerleading and even homecoming court. I am blessed to have shared so much love with Chris and Norb before I was married and after with Paul, our children and grandchildren. Thank you God for Your beautiful gift of Chris"
