Theresa J. Everts, 69, of Dumont, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Maple Manor Village in Aplington. She was born April 8, 1950, to John and Doris (Harms) Cuvelier.
Theresa graduated from Aplington High School. She was united in marriage to Glen Everts on June 27, 1969, at First Reformed Church in Aplington. To this union, two sons were born: Eric and Tony. Theresa worked at Aplington Feed and Grain as a bookkeeper for nearly 40 years. She attended First Reformed Church in Aplington. Theresa enjoyed the outdoors, especially mowing lawn, growing wild flowers and watching wildlife and fishing at their family's cabin in Canada.
Theresa is survived by her husband Glen Everts of Dumont; sons Eric (Candace) Everts of Walcott and Tony (Wendy) Everts of Aplington; seven grandchildren; sisters Julie (Tom) DeGroote of Waterloo and Sue Manifold of Waterloo.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 3, 2020, at the Clutterville - Madison Township Cemetery in rural Dumont.
