Frank enjoyed his tractors, collecting crocks, go-karts, snowmobiling and playing golf. He suffered a stroke in the fall of 2000 and since has enjoyed legos, putting together puzzles, playing suduko, numerics and playing cards with friends who visited. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
