Robert J. Wohlhagen died Friday, January 24, 2020 at his home in Wilmington, Delaware. He was 66 years old.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Bob is the son of Ethel P. and the late William J. Wohlhagen.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware and was employed in the banking industry. He was a movie buff and a WWII historian. Bob was a talented guitar player, and played in a band for many years in his youth.
Bob was very proud of his Irish and German ancestry, and faithfully kept treasured photos and mementos of past generations in the family tree.
Bob is survived by his loving mother, Ethel (nee Phelan) Wohlhagen. He is the dear brother of Laura W. O'Connor and her husband Bob, of Ambler; and William M. Wohlhagen and his wife Marie, of Wilmington. He was the proud uncle of his nieces and nephews, and took great pride in their many accomplishments and successes.
Services will be private, with Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Hennessy officiating.
