Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Reed Vaughn, age 87 of Monroe, will be conducted 2 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Tim Beaty will officiate. Burial to follow in the Booher Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 pm.
Mrs. Vaughn passed from this life on Friday afternoon from Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Kentucky on August 10, 1932, to the late Benjamin and Allie Spencer Reed. She enjoyed singing, playing cards with her children, and canning her garden. She loved to fish with friends and family, help her husband with outside chores, and watch the hummingbirds.
Lorraine leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years Keven Vaughn of Monroe; daughters Donna Holzman and husband Bill of Mantwa, Ohio, and Brenda Blake and husband Kenny of Twinsberg, Ohio; son Keven Vaughn, Junior and wife Sheila of Pensecola, Florida; grandchildren Angel Weizer and husband Ron, Justin Holzman, Tracy Holzman, Jerod Holzman and wife Amanda, Stacy Stephens and husband Darrell, Keven Lee Vaughn, Jamie Kelling and husband Nate, and Ellie Whitelaw and husband Tyler; and great grandchildren Ethan Weizer, Matthew Weizer, Keira Holzman, Laxi Holzman, and Mikilah Holzman.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lorraine Reed Vaughn was preceded in death by her granddaughter Sarah Vaughn; sisters Zella Klanac and Patty Strange; and brothers Tracy Reed and Howard Reed.
