"My family lived near 28th & Browne Sts. in the 50s and early 60s when the Grunbergs were at 29th & Browne. Greg, Steve and I spent many a summer day on our bikes or at each others houses. Your mom was so accommodating and encouraging to your friends. I remember working with scientific experiment games, and on one occasion, some strange seeds germinating and being written about in the newspapers. My parents and yours were long-time members of Kountze Memorial and I remember carpooling to functions there. My parents were sorry to see you guys move to Benson, although I remember Jon Siford and I rode our bikes up to Miami St. once to visit. We got into trouble because we were a few miles outside our neighborhood! My condolences. RICHARD D. BROWN rdanfordbrown@aol.com"

"The Grunberg Family: I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. I had the pleasure of knowing Eunice through my mother, Mildred Walsh. In fact, after my dear mother passed away, Eunice took me to a dinner at her church. She was such a wonderful lady. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. "My condolences to Judy, Steve, & Greg. Eunice was a wonderful woman and a forgiving soul. I know this because she managed to work for my Dad, Dr. Bendorf, for many years and he was not the easiest person to work for. In fact, we always tried to go up to the office so that Eunice could give us shots, because she was much better at it than Dad! We probably got her in trouble numerous times by standing in the lab talking to her when a patient was anxiously waiting for a test result. Whether you were a kid or an adult, Eunice was fun and enthusiastic to talk to and you always left with a smile on your face. She was a very special lady! Susan Bendorf Marino"
