"Many years ago, when I met Indulis the architect, I wasn't sure how our working relation would develop. I was a Mechanical Engineer, just starting my business and Wah Yee Associates was one of my first clients. Indulis who was an Associate at the firm, working on a project and accepted me as a consultant. Immediately I realized how lucky I was, he was the warmest, friendliest person I met during those turbulant years of my carrier. He encouraged me, helped me, shared invaluable adice and was an asset to his profession. We became very good friends, I joined his tennis league and was very happy to play with him on a weekly basis for many years. We kept in touch on line even after his retirement to Lake Michigan. I enjoyed his frequent Emails, they were funny and wise. I saved them all to this day in a special file called "Indulis". RIP Ted "

"I was so nervous, starting my internship at the firm where Indulis was partner and chief architect. He came out of his office and walked into the drafting room. He stopped next to my table, held up a stalk of celery he was munching and said ? You?ll never gain weight eating celery because you burn more calories chewing it than the celery contains?! Here I sat fearing I had done something wrong and with his easy going demeanor, he put me at ease. i came to love his unique sense of humor, dry and not infrequently ribald. He was a wonderful, warm person who it was a privilege and pleasure to know. I am so very sorry to learn of his passing. Daniel. Biber "
