Christopher Michael Thornton Keim
March 26, 1989 - February 3, 2020

Christopher Michael Thornton "Chris" Keim, age 30 of Omaha, the son of Mike and Sara (Thornton) Keim, was born on Easter Sunday of March 26, 1989 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away at his home in Omaha on Monday, February 3, 2020.
Chris graduated from Burke High School in 2008. He went on to earn his Certified Arborist License in 2017 and later started and operated his own business, Quality Tree Service here in Omaha.
Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Dale and Clara May Thornton; paternal grandparents: Fred and Gloria Keim. He is survived by his parents: Mike and Sara (Thornton) Keim; son, Jaxyn Nesta Keim; brothers: Casey Keim, Connor Keim, Dave Keim, Daniel Keim (Cassie); nephews: Myles and Carson Keim; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

"I only met Chris a few times as Jaxyn's Kindergarten teacher but the smile on Jaxyn's face below says it all. He loved his dad and talked about him often. He was proud his dad "worked in trees" as he stated several times. I am very sorry to everyone who is effected by this unexpected loss. "
