In loving memory of

Gene Dale Cedron
September 7, 1932 - February 3, 2020

Mr. Gene Dale Cedron, age 87, passed away from cancer on Monday, February 3, 2020. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 7, 1932 to Nick & Tillie (Mabrito) Cedron. He wed the love of his life, LuJean McGraw, the girl he grew up across the street from, in 1953 and they were married 63 years before she preceded him to heaven in 2016. After serving 2 years in the US Army, he applied his 'never met a stranger', welcoming and friendly personality to a career as a customer service representative for S.D. Warren Paper Co. which he retired from in 1994.
Gene was a kind and generous father which he demonstrated first by raising his younger sisters and then his two daughters whom he taught the importance of integrity, hard-work, humor and love through the way he lived his life. He enjoyed salmon fishing in Lake Michigan on his boat, The Jeanie", steelhead fishing in the rivers and hunting. A Christian and lifelong member of Lakeside Baptist Church, he will be remembered for his happy whistling and ever-present smile.
