Kathryn Ann Betancourt (née Cary), age 67, from Federal Way, WA passed away on January 29, 2020. Kathryn was born on October 2, 1952 to Raymond and Ruth in Seattle, WA and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1970.
Kathryn had a lifelong love for travel, arts & crafts, painting and home improvement projects. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and held a passion for politics. Recently retired, Kathryn owned a collection of fine jewelry and was working toward opening her own jewelry boutique. Above all else, Kathryn adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she touched throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
Kathryn is survived by daughters Brienna and Kristin, sons-in-law Jeremy and Ryan, grandchildren Hannah, Ezra, Jack and Emma, sisters Barbara and Sharon, brother Eugene and extended family.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at LifeWay Church (5015 SW Dash Point Rd, Federal Way) on Saturday, February 15 at 11am.
