In loving memory of

David Barnes
May 13, 1937 - February 6, 2020

David W. Barnes was the youngest sibling, from a large family based out of Montana. Following his family's tradition of Medical Studies, he received his Doctorate in Optometry in the late 50's. Dave preferred to be called "Grandpa Barnes", not "Dr. Barnes" as in his earlier years. From his five children, he was most proud of his twelve grandchildren + his honorary granddaughter, Danielle and two great grandchildren, Brylee & Devore. Grandpa practiced Optometry for over 45 years. He devoutly served this community and his patients. Having received numerous acknowledgements for his care and dedication. The man had his faults. He made mistakes. He had his shortcomings, but he loved the Lord and all that entails. His grandchildren will have the memories of his cheating at cards, the LandRover, classic t.v. & mystery radio. Not to mention the love of black licorice, SPAM, gum and English television shows. We called you Dad, Grandpa, Pappa Smurf, Capt'n Dave, Super Dave. We love you and will miss you. Enjoy that great duck hunt in the sky, Old Man.
