"Brother Joe, and family ... I would loved to have thanked her for her military service but didn't know Marilyn was a veteran. It was a pleasure knowing her. A delightful lady who could be as serious as an occurrence may require and cause an outburst of laughter a moment later. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers to all family and friends who knew and loved her. Wayland"

"What fun it was to know her. She was a force, a tornado and a hurricane rolled up in one dynamic bundle. She was kind, mostly, unless you managed to get on her bad side. Then, woe be unto you. Always fair and just, her attitude and presence is already greatly missed."
