Mildred Beatrice Hedgepeth
December 11, 1917 - August 6, 2009

Hedgepeth, Mildred Beatrice Taylor, age 91 of Knoxville, departed this life Thursday August 6, 2009. She was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church and past member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church where her parents were charter members. She was retired from TVA after thirty-five years of service. Mildred was preceded in death by: Husband, Clarence Calvin Hedgepeth; Parents, Charley McCullum and Anna Mae Stooksbury Taylor; Siblings, Sisters, Colena Mayes and Vivian Pineda and Brother, Edwin Taylor. She is survived by: Son, Winston Hedgepeth and Daughter, Don-Eita Barkley; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; Sisters, Othella Horne and her husband, Eugene Horn, and Patricia Davis and her husband, Richard Davis; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; cousins and friends. Family and friends will gather at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Monday at 10:45 A.M. for a 11:00 A.M. Graveside service with Todd Hedgepeth Officiating. Pallbearers: Lance Hedgepeth, Randall Barkley, Todd Hedgepeth, Trigg Hedgepeth, Bradford Hedgepeth, Edward Barkley, Christopher Barkley, and Jonathan Hedgepeth. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday. Agangements by Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
