Larry E. Sexton
Larry Eugene Sexton, age 61, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at his home. 2 Corinthians 5:1: "For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." Larry was a prime example and role model for what a father should be. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Samuel and Dona Sexton; brother, David Sexton; and sister-in-law, Linda Sexton. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughters, Laura (Christian) Lafollette, Lori (Nolan Hayes) Sexton"I love you to the sky and back, daddy" ; brother, Eddie (Sherri) Sexton; sisters, Charlotte (Glenn) Pressley and Terry (David) McGill; nieces, Jennifer Wise, Michelle Sexton, Melissa Bennett, Kendell McGill, Heather Shipley; nephews, Mark Pressley and Mitchell McGill. There will be a visitation held Tuesday June 10th at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00pm.
