Smith, Bessie Rosena, age 91, passed away August 11, 2009 in Palmyra Virginia. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Audery Joseph Smith her parents Isaac and Martha Arminda Williams; sisters Edith Arminda Williams and Geneva Evelyn Cooper. Survived by her Sister Mary Ruth Monday of Knoxville; special niece Toma Corum and her husband Bob of Powell; great nieces, Karmen Hall and Gina Cope; great-great nieces and nephews, Brennan, Zachary, Joshua, Michael and Joseph. Graveside services will be at 11 am Saturday in Edgewood Cemetery with Rev. Billy Baker officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel.
