Porter, David Franklin (Scobie), age 69 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday August 17, 2009 in Morgantown, W. Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Porter and Sister Carol Hawkins. Survived by his children, Clinton Porter and his wife of Maryland, Tracy Porter of Maryland and Darrell Porter and his wife of Florida; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; Brothers Gailen Porter and wife of Knoxville, and Larry Porter and wife of Knoxville. There will be a graveside service at 11 am Friday at the Glenwood Cemetery with Rev Ray Barber officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery by 10:45 am Friday for the service. Arrangements by Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel.
